The main two mice you are likely to come across are the House Mouse and the Wood Mouse. The wood mouse is usually light brown in colour with a white/grey underbelly and the house mouse is brown all over.
Mice are nocturnal (active at night) so you may not actually see them. However, you may hear them or see their droppings which are a bit smaller than a grain of rice. Signs of gnawing on electricity cables and food packaging is something else to look out for.
Mice have weak bladders and will leave spots of urine on any surface they walk over, so be sure to use an anti bacterial cleaner on any food perpetration surface before use.
They are known to cause the spread of Tapeworm, Ringworm, Salmonella food poisoning and Meningitis, so early treatment is essential in reducing risk to your health. If you observe any of the signs mentioned above, don't hesitate and contact us to discuss your affordable treatment options.
